Effective date: 7 June 2026. Last updated: 7 June 2026.
This Privacy Policy explains how AICA: AI Cloud Agency ("AICA", "we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, shares, and protects personal data. It applies to our website at aicloudagency.com, our consultation bookings and newsletter, our work with clients and partners, and our transactable offer in the Microsoft Azure Marketplace.
AICA is an independent consultancy. We are not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by Microsoft. References to Microsoft products and programs describe the technologies we use and the services we provide.
1. Who we are
AICA: AI Cloud Agency is a boutique AI consultancy based in Bulgaria that helps B2B AI startups become enterprise-ready and investor-proof on Microsoft Azure. For the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), AICA is the data controller for personal data collected through our website, marketing, and direct client relationships. When we deliver services inside a client's own cloud environment, we typically act as a data processor on that client's behalf.
2. Data we collect
Contact and enquiry data: name, email, organization, role, and details you share when you book a consultation, email us, or submit a form. Consultation bookings: name, email, chosen time, and any notes, collected through our scheduling provider. Newsletter data: your email address and basic engagement data such as opens and clicks. Client and project data: information exchanged to scope and deliver engagements. Marketplace offer data: user-provided details, telemetry and diagnostics, and authentication identifiers (for example, a Microsoft Entra ID or Microsoft account identifier) used for secure access. Website and device data: IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, and similar information collected through cookies and analytics.
3. How and why we use data
We use personal data to respond to enquiries and hold consultations; to provide, maintain, and improve our services and Marketplace offer; to send the newsletter you requested; to operate and secure our website; and to meet legal and contractual obligations. Where GDPR applies, our legal bases are performance of a contract, legitimate interests, consent (for the newsletter and non-essential cookies), and legal obligation.
4. Cookies and analytics
Our website uses essential cookies needed for it to work and, with your consent, analytics cookies to understand and improve usage. You can accept or decline non-essential cookies through the cookie banner and change your choice anytime in your browser settings.
5. How we share data
We do not sell or rent your personal data. We share it only with service providers who help us operate (such as our website host, scheduling tool, and newsletter platform); with Microsoft where you use our Marketplace offer or a service runs on Microsoft Azure; with clients and partners as needed to deliver an engagement; and where required by law.
6. International transfers
We are based in Bulgaria (EU) and work internationally, including in the United States. Where we transfer personal data outside the European Economic Area, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses or an adequacy decision.
7. Data retention
We keep personal data only as long as needed for the purpose it was collected or as required by law, then delete or anonymize it.
8. Security
We apply security best practices appropriate to the data we handle, including encryption in transit and at rest, role-based access control, least-privilege access, and audit logging. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
9. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your personal data; to object to or restrict processing; and to withdraw consent. Under GDPR you may lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority (in Bulgaria, the Commission for Personal Data Protection). California residents have rights under the CCPA/CPRA; we do not sell personal information. To exercise any right, contact us using the details below.
10. Children's privacy
Our website and services are intended for businesses and professionals and are not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will revise the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify you.
